  I work nearby and have been here many times. I always greet them nicely with a smile but in five years, I have never been treated with any sort of friendliness or respect. Today I needed certified slips for my taxes but there weren't any sitting out. I asked the older man behind the counter in between customers if he could hand me a couple, and he told me he didn't have any, after I had just watched him apply one to someone else's envelope. I said as much and he told me I could go to the end of the (extraordinarily long) line and wait for one. When I pointed out that I had already prepaid and simply needed to apply the slip (as nicely as possible) he told me customers steal them and I can't have any. After waiting several more minutes, while he did nothing, he grudgingly handed me a few and then called the next poor soul up to the counter.
