  Brought in a book signed by President Kennedy and a medallion I wanted to frame with both sides showing. Modestly complex heirloom-type stuff.
  
  The gentleman on duty, who has been there years, it seems, explained he needed to discuss with the boss.
  
  Come back several weeks later and there's no artistic suggestion (hello, that's why I came to you, the experts) and not even a written quote on the price!!
  
  Best comment: "I am a bit worried about this book fitting in this shadow-box frame." (Which, um, the speaker himself had chosen as to try to "sell" me on.)
  
  Anyway, I am sure they are competent to fully execute any design you yourself dream up.
  
  Don't ask for any design advice, though.
