  Spring is breaking at this site. Low on the ground are greens and some flowers if you look carefully. Trees and bushes are budding. Weekday visits are peaceful and meditative. Some birds, turtles and fish. Great for walking and running

  If you've never experienced nature, this place is probably a revelation, but if you have this place is kind of sad.
  
  It's better than nothing, but it feels poorly thought out and unfinished. My guess is that, really, is just underfunded.
  
  There is the chance to see some interesting bird life, but at no point do you feel like you've escaped the city or really gotten deep into nature.
