  I went to return a book at the bookstore. I lost the receipt and explained to them that I called before asking if it was possible to return the book without a receipt because I used my i-Card. The person on the phone explained to me that my i-Card has a record of my purchases. After I explained my situation, the cashier just rolled her eyes took my i-Card to have reprint a copy of the transaction. Then she went to her co-worker who was working next to her and calling the students stupid for not having their receipt and how students should be charge a fee for not having a receipt. I was able to get a refund for the book that I did not need because the teacher wanted the class to get an earlier edition of the book. I have never been disgusted by customer service especially by bitter old women working at a University Bookstore. Completely unsatisfied with the professionalism of the staff at the bookstore. Never in my life have I ever come across a bookstore whose staff has attitude and such hate for the student population at UIC. Not happy at all with today's customer service at the store
