  My daughter has been coming to Sonrisa Family Dental for two years and since we have been there I have always had a problem with front desk staff. Even making an appointment is agonizing going back and forth with the receptionist giving me dates and times that I am unavailable after I repeatedly tell them I need a weekend or evening time. Don't think about using the online appointment system, they didn't even know what I was talking about when I told them I made an appointment online. But this final visit was the last straw after going back and forth with, yet again, the receptionist telling me that my daughter didn't have insurance. I can accept if there is a mix up with the system, or if I had to call to sort it out with the insurance company, what I wont accept is rudeness, attitude, and one word "I don't know" responses and pushing my daughter out of the room without my knowledge as if we are animals. I finally paid the bill so that my daughter could be seen since I waited over six months to get a decent appointment time and took off work to get her there. Something like billing should be done before the patient arrives to avoid any confusion. But, that's why some people are in these job positions and I must realize that ignorance never prevails. I got the insurance situation straight which was in fact error on their parts, and needless to say we will NEVER return. The dentist are really good though and unfortunately your receptionist and front desk are your first point of contact and who sets the tone for your business, as long as this level of customer service is there, they will continue to loose patients.
