  Pong's Import has been my mechanic since about 1990 and this mom & pop shop continues to be a blessing. The brothers who founded it have been like family, even loaning me their own cars a couple times in an unexpected breakdown. Being a car mechanic's kid myself, I know honest honest mechanics when I see them. These folks tell you when you DON'T need a repair yet, and tell you how to know when you do. I came in today with the print out of what the Toyota dealership says I needed, priced at $2600. Pong's team verified 95% of it but did all of it for literally half of the cost. In 3 1/2 hours. I also never buy a car from any place without having Pong's Import check it out first. A quiet gem of a shop in Chicago.

  Pongs was recommended to me by a friend after another place wanted to charge me $3,500 on a repair. $3500 is a lot on a car that has a bluebook value of 6500.
  Pong did the work for $ 1,200 and had it ready the next day. I was so impressed with his work I brought in my wife's car to look over. He replaced the front brakes, changed the oil and fixed the ABS system for about $500
  Pongs is my go to place for car work from now on.
  Pong himself is a very nice guy who understand my requirements and helped me out.
  Very happy with Pongs and would recommend Pongs auto to anyone.

  New to Chicago and went here, Pong and his team are amazing! I was nervous about my car but they not only repaired to satisfaction, I left feeling more knowledgeable. Definitely my go-to shop!!! (Audi)
