  Best deep dish on the South side, as good as the original Uno. If you're used to the reheated frozen pizza served by Uno's nationwide chain locations, which by the way are unaffiliated with the original in Chicago and only license the name/logo, this will blow your mind. As for the rivalry with Lou Malnati's, neither restaurant is worse than the other, it all depends on how you like your crust. Malnati's crust is flakier like an actual pie crust, Deepo's is denser like a scone. Both have perfected their particular styles. If your taste buds are used to the grease and salt bombs served by national chains, which are usually awful bastardizations of Detroit style, the pizza will taste underseasoned and soggy. Savor the first bite, though, and give your taste buds time to deprogram and acclimate to real natural ingredients, and this will be some of the best pizza you've ever had.
