  This was a great field trip. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable. The staff was also very flexible when my class's plans changed. We all had a great time.

  I was anxious about going for the first time on a free day due to crowds but even with school field trips going on it was busy but not overrun. There's stuff to appeal to a lot of different ages - extremely kid friendly but grown-ups will find plenty of interest & can learn a bit too!
  Because it is designed with families with small kids in mind it is very accessible & convenient when it comes to strollers, spots to stop & snack, family bathrooms, and bathrooms on every floor.
  We took public transit - the walk from the Brown Line was actually quicker than I anticipated. There's a bus that drops you off right at the museum but if you have a big jogger stroller it really is quite walkable from the train (big stroller + buses = anxiety for me). Met up with a friend & her kiddo & they drove & said parking was pretty easy to find.
  With very reasonably priced memberships I imagine a family membership is in our future!

  This museum is awesome. It's a two level building highly recommended for the children. Very informative as you view. Highly educational. In one area of the museum staff will bring out an animal while lecturing about the animal at hand. Then give anyone a chance to pet it. $9 at the door of you go online pay with credit card/pay pal its $7.
