  You can either sit here and enjoy your baked goodies and cup of Colombian coffee or you can take it home. Cash, debit, credit cards are all accepted. The long counter/bar has plenty of stools that fill up quickly on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. My favorite things to get here are: the chicken empanadas with their green spicy sauce with just the right amount of heat, the Gloria filled with Guava, coconut bread (perfect with their Colombian coffee). The staff is very friendly. Be patient. Even if you take a number -- they don't always call out numbers here -- but I am always amazed how the ladies behind the counter always know WHO IS NEXT. There are a few tables toward the front, albeit small, but always a challenge to get a table on a weekend especially the ones near the large glass window. I tend to sit at the bar (tall stools) and enjoy whatever I purchase here. The price-point is excellent. Their baked goods are made fresh every morning. I don't live in the area. However, this is a bakery shop I visit every once in a while. Their baked goods are high quality and all are delicious. You are going to find something here that you like. Don't be afraid to ask "what is this" and "what is inside" (some of their baked goods are stuffed with guava -- or something else). Also, if you like Flan I highly recommend you get Flan here. Outstanding! Parking -- street parking in front (pay to park -- but I have never done "Pay to Park" and have never received a ticket. They are located across the street from a large Chicago Police Department. The bakery owner has an excellent relationship with the CPD across the street, so I believe this may the reason WHY no one gets a ticket when you park in front of their bakery shop. My final rating is 4-stars, because they do NOT have a public washroom. If you have to use the washroom you will have to wait until you (1) get home (2) hit up a fast-food restaurant.

  My brother lives in Bolingbrook, and requests that I bring him $40 worth of empanadas every time I visit him. I can’t blame him; their empanadas are the best.
