  My daughter has been here for a year and the school is doing a great job regardless of the budget cuts throughout CPS. Standardized tests shouldn't measure a child's ability. My daughter's test scores put her at a second grade level despite her only being in kindergarten at the time. Parent involvement is always a must if you want your kids to succeed, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. Aside from the tests and grades, the school is very good at being a small community with involved parents.
