  Worst school ever. A big bullying problem stands in this school. Many promises have been made by the principal and the assistant principal and nothing has been done. My nephew still goes here either you guys give these kids some discipline or he’s gone. Something has to change!

  Do NOT do it. I put my son in this school for Kindergarten he's now in 1st grade and I've had the WORST experience. 1st of all this school is working to expand because they only go up to 5th grade but how the staff operates I seriously Doubt it! Last yr when my son was in kindergarten he walked out the school alone and just so happened the baby sitter was there . The following day I brought it to Mr. Jakubowski's attention (Principal) he assured me that he was sorry and that he wouldn't let it happen again. Later that year another kid hit my son in the mouth while two staff watched and did nothing. Mr.Quanz the assistant principal seemed really NonChalant and told me he would follow up, NEVER DID. Then this year the Library teacher becomes my son's first grade teacher and the transition from kindergarten to 1st grade for him has been really rocky. Did I forget to mention in the middle of kindergarten his kindergarten teacher abruptly QUIT. This is a Chicago Public School in an urban area ran by predominantly white faculty who don't have the best interest at heart for our kids. If you have any other options outside of hope I strongly recommend you exercising them.
