  I take lessons here because it's real close to my house --- both of my teachers have been fantastic and the experience has been great. The "getting help" and "buying things" aspects depends on who is there: sometimes I've waited ten to fifteen minutes for someone to help and when they do they're fairly unhelpful, other times there's one person who just sits with me and talks about everything I want to do and how best to do it. In particular, for two larger purchases, the employee (I'm not sure if I can post names, etc., so I'll keep it anonymous) went above-and-beyond to help me get the best possible deal on the stuff I wanted --- better than the Amazon price, even!
  
  Loses one star for some of the staff some of the time, but the other staff members know what they're talking about and care about helping musicians or aspiring musicians get what they need. Highly recommend. Just don't be that guy who goes there every day playing a bad version of "Smoke On the Water" as loud as you can in the main room for an hour.
