  Okay, here we go....my husband and I decided to dine out this Easter Sunday, so, we chose Dan's Soul Food & Bakery. Our order was placed over the phone, around 6 pm. My husband picked the food up an hour later. When he got there he was told they were out of almost everything we ordered over the phone. However, he brought home; smothered chicken, meat loaf & gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese; corn and 3 slices of cake. Unfortunately, the food was TERRIBLE. The chicken was that of 4 wings with lots of skin on them plus they were overcooked in some awful gravy; the mac & cheese was not homemade but from Kraft's box; mashed potatoes were not made from scratch, and I'm not sure what kind of meat the meatloaf was, it looked like dog food and tasted like it came from the frozen food section, with lots of gravy over it. In fact, I have a good mind to have this meatloaf tested at the lab where I work to see if it is actually ground beef, turkey, or animal products. It was disgusting. The cakes were not homemade and tasted like they were from Jewel's Bakery. I tell you this food was HORRIBLE. We would have taken it all back but they were closed. I am now trying to reach Dan's Soul Food to let them know I do not appreciate them taking my money for this garbage they sold us, btw. the corn was the only food that was edible. NEVER WILL GO BACK!!!!
