  After calling for a noice complaint 3 times and absolutely nothing was done proceeded to get the actual number of the police station 4 blocks from my place & still nothing could be done. I live off of the corner of Cornelia & Halsted. The police station is on Addison & Halsted. Really!? after talking to someone at the actual police department, there was nothing that they could do.

  On August 23, 2017 I was sweeping my back porch and observed an officer in an unmarked car come through the alley that our building is on. There was a woman having car issues and was blocking that same alley.
  The officer sat in his car for two to three minutes, then got out and yelled something to the effect of "if you don't have a car that works, then don't park it in the alley! I'm trying to get to the station and now I can't because of you!". He then returned to his car, backed up and pulled away.
  It's really a shame that this woman wasn't offered help by the police officer in a time of need; rather she was berated. This made me incredibly sad to see this woman treated so poorly.
  Police officers should be pillars of the community and people Chicagoans should be able to trust and rely on.
  I hope this review somehow makes it back to the officer that did this and he reflects on his behavior. There needs to be more kindness in this world, and it should start with those who are already looked up to as positive examples for the rest of society.
