  I've have lived in the 25 district police station area for over 35 years now.
  It is amazing how this police station's personnel can still mistreat it's constituents. They definitely do not understand the meaning of SERVE AND PROTECT.I made a call to 911 regarding person breaking the window's of a vehicle at 4am. An hour and a half later when the police finally did show up the same vehicle was now on fire and the individual causing the damage was gone.The police commissioner on t.v. is always saying that the community has to get involved,but even when we do the police still do nothing about it.Also the police officers from the 25th district are some of the most unprofessional officer's you will encounter in the city of Chicago.Its time for the police department to be responsible for their officer's misconduct and stop passing the blame on to the community.They are being payed to do a job they are failing at.I mean how hard is it to respect the community individuals that are attempting to get involved.Just read a few of these reviews regarding the 25th district police station and you will get a better idea of what's going on with this community.Now I have a better understanding on why police officers are showing up in the news regarding their behavior towards others.
  Time for accountability where it belongs. ....with the officers who are sworn to serve and protect us, not intimidate and harass us.
