  Classic Cantonese American!
  [Note: to find it you must go into Old Crow Smokehouse and downstairs.]
  Had been seeking such a classic style of food in River North and this is it. Yes, I realize that this is not the authentic Chinese food, but from the menu that should be obvious, so no reason to complain about that. Everything that we ordered on our first visit was very good: Kung Pao Chicken, Pad See Ew Beef (Thai), Mu Shu Pork, and free Crab Rangoon. Like that they offer brown rice option.

  Comments which maybe the owners can adjust to the future menu: why no option for Beef Chow Fun? Why no option for BBQ Pork in fried rice or in egg foo young? Why no eggroll (only spring rolls, not the same thing)? Why no fungus in the Mu Shu filling recipe and using thick flour tortilla instead of thinner pancakes?

  Removed 1 star after a return visit which was more mixed. Specifically tried different items. Maybe it was these items or the cook was having a bad day. General Tso Chicken was decent. Hot and Sour soup was just OK. Same with Beef and Broccoli. The Combination LoMein noodles were overcooked and tasted like linguini noodles. My wife and I agreed that we would just toss that one.
  Hopefully, they will do better.
