  I was so excited to book an appointment here after reading the other reviews. Maybe if you're getting your hair cut and colored you'll have a different experience than I did.
  
  It was my birthday and I just wanted a shampoo and blowout - I was staying downtown and didn't feel like bringing all my hair tools from my apartment. I made an appointment at B. Bella the day before and the guy on the phone was really nice. I told him I had really thick hair and just wanted a wash and a flat iron. No big deal. Appointment booked.
  
  I showed up and they had no idea who I was. After the initial conversation with the guy at the counter, who ultimately wound up doing my hair, NO ONE spoke with me; including the guy who did my hair while he was doing it!
  
  Like I said, I have thick hair which, honestly, isn't in the best condition - its dry and I should probably have it cut. BUT i assumed someone who does hair for a living would understand how to deal with it. I sat down to have my hair washed and he began to dry brush my hair to untangle it. I only touch my hair to untangle it when it is wet with conditioner in it; otherwise it gets even more damaged. I asked him to please stop and wet my hair first; in what I thought was a very pleasant tone. He grunted and began to wash my hair...with scalding hot water. I should have left then.
  
  He finished and then blew out my hair and straightened it, didn't put any product in it which was weird. Ultimately my 'styled' hair lasted 5 hours before it was frizzy, tangled, and none too straight. What a waste of time and money. It would have been faster and healthier for my hair for me to do it at home; not to mention it would have lasted WAY longer.
