  One thing I really like about Jane Addams is that you do not run into problems or see fights. At JAHS, I feel safe and I have realized how important that feeling is. Jane Addams is like a home away from home. Coming to Jane Addams has changed me in a lot of ways. I now show up to school on time and my attendance has improved dramatically. I owe part of my success story to Ms. Hernandez for not giving up on me and reminding me of what is important. If it weren’t for her, I would not be here today.

  I appreciate the fact that the teachers actually seem to care about the students. I also like that the school is strict in absences and academically. My daughter comes home and is encouraged to work towards a goal. My daughter will move onto college and I can say that I wish I had enrolled her in JAHS sooner.
