  Very disappointed! Came in on Thursday hoping to get a good night's sleep, horrible bed and pillows. If that wasn't enough, just outside our window there is construction. We were woken up at 630 by iron workers. I have never been to Chicago and I think this hotel should have informed me of the construction so I could have stayed some place else. I called the desk to express this and was told a manager would call my room right away. It's Saturday and we are leaving in the morning....no call from Management. Would never stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone. There are tons of hotels right near this one. Do not stay here!!

  The place is very comforting and felt welcomed as soon I stepped foot in the lobby. The staff members are extremely helpful. The lobby looks very clean and updated. The rooms were also very clean and the beds are very comfortable with feather pillows. The reason I didn't give the location five stars is the exterior of building is very dirty. The building looks old from the outside: not only that, my reservation was a lake view room but hard to really see outside with the windows being extremely dirty. Price is right for the place and id come back only if they clean the windows so I can get that lake view experience I was supposed to get. pointless to advertise lake view is you cant see anything.

  A great location for visiting the Museum Campus (able to walk to campus) and exploring the area. We did not use our car once we parked and walked to 3 museums and all restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area with recommendations for places to eat.
  The lobby is updated, but the same attention does not look like it was given to the rooms. That said, the room is fine if you are looking for a place to sleep between exploring Chicago and are looking for a reasonable price, but if you are looking for luxury you will not be happy here.
